A winter wedding in the city centre of Amsterdam, three weeks before Christmas. Dimitra and Jan never thought their love would lead to this romance, but sometimes the most beautiful things happen when you least expect them. The match with us as wedding photographers started when they attended a wedding of their friends as guests. The quote "from a wedding, comes a wedding" was so true. Their email titled "another wedding," got us excited right away. 

In terms of planning, this party was unlike most weddings. For example, the party began in the late afternoon with an intimate dinner at Pulitzer. There were speeches from family and friends and, most importantly, good food and wine surrounded by intimates. 

Then it was time for the ceremony at Felix Meritis, where they welcomed all the evening guests. Stephen was their officiant for a day and it was great to think that they got to know him through a chance meeting on their first date, 12 years ago. During ceremony, Dimitra and Jan gave speeches (as beautiful in the movies) and expressed their love for each other. Followed by toasts with cake, dimmed lights and what completes everything for them: great company. They were surrounded by amazing musicians they had chosen perfectly, including a great Brass Band. Don't forget the abundance of luxurious snacks and cocktails, they even thought of a portrait artist... A great inspiration for couples with wedding plans in winter season.
